A native of the southwest side of Detroit, Ellen Hayes is not a new face to the music scene in her hometown.  As the music director at her home church, The Word of Truth Church, she has been singing all over the city.  With her prolific songwriting skills her songs have the driving force of three different choirs at her home church.  “I just try to please God with my music.
