Biography of Leah Wise, A.K.A. Le-Le (Female Gospel Rappa)
I was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. Iâve been rapping for about six years now. When I first started rapping I was 18 years old but I was really into the secular music. I begin to change my style and the way that I portrayed my self after encountering numerous problems in my life. My first performance and my first gospel song talks about my testimony and how I changed my life around for God. That single is called Young Thug. A couple of years into my gospel rapping stage, I met up with BLK and thatâs when I really got heavily into my music. BLK then introduced me to M.A.J.O.R.S. We did a couple of songs together like, Comin Back, Get to know ya God, and Solider. Thatâs when I became the First Lady of the King Disciples. I speak highly of the King Disciples members. One thing I can say is they are highly faithful to the Saviour and they know the word very well. There are a lot of things in my life that I am still learning and my main focus is living right for God. Without God, I donât know where Iâd be or who Iâd be. Everyday Iâm writing more and more because I feel the need to witness real life to every one of all ages that need this. My music is gospel but itâs also as worldly as it could get because I feel the need to try and relate to these streets, in order to win these souls. The majority of our young generation loves the bounce music and the music about street life. I feel that if I can do the job to combine all of that into a Christian album, then that is one soul I have won for Christ. I love doing music and I do it from my heart. I do admit, I have been criticized about my music but I just take the criticism and run with it. It only makes me better. I am an originator and what you hear is strictly how I live and who I am. I donât change for no one but the Savior. The name of my album is One on One. One on one just means, all of Godâs people against the devil. So check it out, tell ya friends, take it to the churches.
