About Mirac

Many ask where does the name “Mirac”come from? Well it’s really short for Miraculous!
Mirac’s name is the definition of God’s power, mercy and grace.

Eric Isles II a.k.a. Miraculous hails from the original birth place of rap and hip-hop... The Bronx. He began to develop his rap and production skills at the age of thirteen with plans to use hip- hop as a means to spread a positive and powerful message. The message from this young artist is the word of God, the truth, that by God’s power, can convict, touch a person’s heart, and bring a person to salvation so that God’s work is being done. The mission appointed to all of us first and foremost, is to spread the gospel, (the good news) and Mirac, now seventeen years old has taken on that mission spreading the gospel through Holy Hip- Hop, and bringing a style that’s hot, marketable, and far from the ordinary.

The style and energy Mirac is bringing to the table is delivered like never before. It’s a unique style of gospel rhymes with a street feel, expressing love, pain, turmoil, struggles and breakthroughs of everyday life that the younger and older generation can move with. It has been said that Mirac’s rap style is reminiscent to that of secular recording artists Kanye West with a touch of L.L. Cool J. Even though his words and music are geared toward the youth about many issues in life, his flow is also one that a variety of people can listen to. The praise and recognition of God shows in his life and his rhymes. Mirac’s ability to move crowds with his words is one of his most important features. The impact of his performances has crowds on their feet dancing, praising, and taking in a message at the same time.

Mirac has performed at several churches in the New York city area including the Pilgrim Church in Harlem, NY which was his first break into the gospel rap ministry. Mirac was also chosen as a finalist in the McDonalds Gospel Fest 2005. He has recorded with the gospel recording artists Revelation S.E.E.D. for their up and coming CD, and has been interviewed by Vincent Davis- CEO of the former Vintertainment Records (Keith Sweat etc,), for his soon to be released hip-hop documentary.

Taken from a recent interview:

“Areas of the recording industry are plagued by materialism, money, and sexual graphics, etc. that can corrupt a young person’s mind.” says Mirac. This day and age, the youth are mostly exposed to these things, and feel it’s the right way to live their lives. Their lack of knowledge, exposure to God’s word, and positive role models is effecting the way they think and act, and in turn the next generations will only know this negative way of thinking.” “ I am here to bring the positive and God’s knowledge to all people. This is my ministry.”
