Born and raised in Miami, FL, Prophecy Soundz (Ahmad Hosein) always had a love for music. The first CD he had ever heard was Nas - Illmatic. In his middle school years, he would then try to be like some of his favorite artists and write rhymes to the best of his ability. Over the years, he has honed his craft, as well as developing the ability to produce beats, inspired from his favorite producers, (DJ Premier, 9th Wonder, Pete Rock, and the list goes on.) He had the dream of being one of the most renown hip hop producers of his time. Then one day, his vision on life changed when he realized the path he was on not what God had for him, and he needed Jesus Christ in his life. On November 30, 2008, he gave his life to Christ and was baptized. Initially, he continued to do secular music until a year later, the Holy Spirit convicted him. He stopped music for a brief time, until the Lord spoke to him, clearly saying: 'Your music is for me.' The rest is history. Prophecy Soundz is now working with Kinfolk Music Group as a producer, artist, and songwriter.
