THE MENTOR: Renegade is involved with several youth as a mentor of all age groups.
Born and raised in Bridgeport CT, âRenegade of the kingâ was born into a single parent environment where he and his brother lived with his Mom. He didn't have many choices in life but faced poverty, abuse, and neglect from what every child wanted, a Father. Renegade like many young people today was influenced by material things in life and how it seemed to bring happiness. He only had few choices to escape some problems in his life such as poverty, abuse and low self esteem. These choices revolved around Church, School and sports. Later on in life when he felt he found himself he was just doing things as a form of stress releif to keep busy in the projects and release the pain that was inside. After high school he found himself trapped in a world that ended up with him being jobless, near homeless and desperate. Renegade then turned to the streets to make ends meet. He pursued a rap career, got into drinking and selling drugs and plainly forgot about God in his life. Continuing this life style he found a job but didn't stop his street life and had a son. Renegade found himself in several domestic disputes that landed him in a bad position and another child on the way.
How God will change your life:
Renegade decided to give his life back to the Lord relaizing that God had saved him from many life threatening events in his life from birth ,being shot at, robbed, vehicle accidents, serving time outside of being in a holding cell and many other trials of life he passed through.
Renegade has always had a heart for young people since he was one himself. He has now changed his life and lives for the works of Jesus Christ. He has dedicated his ministry to young peoole to help them to avoid the things he has faced as a child. Renegade is an inspiration to so many that he reaches and has been claimed by youth to be a strong mentor that has touched and changed their lives (PRAISE GOD).
Renegade has released 3 Gospel rap projects War B tween 2, Ministry Over Beats vol1, the Preparation EP and his fourth project 1000 Miles EP produced by Prodigal Son. He has ministered at various churches and youth events. He is also a part of a compilation CD with HolyWood records in Florida Entitled Street Disciples which is being released in the UK and the United States. His ministry is also being heard oversees in over 20 countries in the world.
Renegade wants to thank God for all he has done and what he is going to do in his life. II Cor, but if our Gospel be hid it is hid to them that are lost.
Renegade holds several ministries in his home church in Bridgeport where he serves as the Youth Paostor. Men's group, Praise Dancers, steppers, youth choir, usher board, Group home ministries every 3rd Tuesday, and the video/audio ministry.
