Over Charity Angel

As Charity was growing up she found many ways to take part in music. While she was attending Jr. High School, she continued to sing in as many church events that she could and sang and danced in the musical "Brigadoon". Her musical interest continued to expand and grow and by 1985 was known for her presence in church and school events. She was the lead singer in a performance entitled, "Trial of the Big Bad Wolf". She played the character, Little Red Riding Hood. She still participates in church events to this day.

While attending High School, she was a member of the Pep Squad which allowed her tp cheer at her school’s Basketball, Football, Volleyball, and Soccer games, as well as Wrestling and the schools Spirit pep rallies. She also performed in several high school sponsored Dances. Academically she excelled as well, so much so, she graduated a full semester ahead of her class in December 1995.

In July, 1994, she performed with 800 other dancers at the Stadium of Fire breaking the current record for the largest number of dancers to perform at one time and form the American Flag

After leaving high school, she found more ways to stay involved with music. She performed at the Springville City Theater in musicals like "Annie". She had seven singing and dancing roles there.

In April of 2003, she made it to the Semi-Finals of Fowlers Studios of Branson, Missouri Recording Contract Competition, by popular internet voting, won 3rd place and was offered a recording contract which she declined.

In order to properly propel her music interests, her husband and family relocated to Missouri to be much closer to her music connections. In March of 2004 she won a Recording Contract in Nashville and April of that same year received an additional offer which she turned down as well.

Charity Angel decided to hold concerts locally with her own church and also at St. Luke's United Methodist Praise Team. Many fans were so pleased with her abilities and performance they encouraged her to create an album.

On June 25, 2005 Charity was chosen as one of the Top 40 Ozarks Idols. She competed against participants from 26 counties in Missouri and 5 from Arkansas to compete at "Fire Fall" in front of 60,000 people for the top 10 positions.

In July of 2005 "Only Prayers Away" rough cuts were completed and released to multiple internet independent music charts. Her music soared up the charts. She was the #2 unsigned artist on iSound.com that same month. She also climbed to #6 on broadjam.com's top 10 Classical Contemporary on their Missouri state charts. Charity has also enjoyed being in many top 10 and top 20 positions on SoundClick.com.

In December 2005, she performed with 11 other Christian artists at "Rock at the River" to raise funds for victims of Hurricane Katrina. Charity contributed "In Whom I Have Trusted" to a compilation CD fund raiser, as well as participated in David Bethune's "Reach Out" CD project for the same cause.

Of late, Charity completed demo work for other songwriters, songs that contained her vocals won First Place in three separate song writing competitions. Since January 2006 to the present, Charity has maintained the #1 Independent Christian artist position in Missouri on MySpace.com, as well as fluctuating between #30 and #11 World wide. She presently holds the largest number of fans, of all Christian artists in Missouri. Currently Charity has well over 16,000 fans, On My Space alone and the number grows daily.

"Only Prayers Away" was completed and manufactured this April and was made available on-line, or by special order by retailers through Super D / Phantom Distribution. Next month she has plans to return to the recording studio to begin her next project entitled, "My Life".
