Born and raised in Chicago Illinois Preston Thompson aka Lyrical Miracle has a love for reaching out to lost souls. At one time in his life Preston was living a very dangerous sinful lifestyle Former drug dealer & member of Gangster rap group Hard 2 Control, Preston decided to give his life to Christ. After being involved with a rap ministry at his local church, Preston accepted a calling from the Lord not only to preach the gospel, but to minister the gospel through christian hip-hop music. " most hip-hop music that is played in the mainstream today is infecting the minds of our youth," says Thompson. "as a minister of christian hip-hop music my goal is to take back the music satan has perverted, by continuing to produce quality hip-hop music with mesaages from God to uplift people. " I want to encourage beleivers to continue to live for Christ, & convert nonbeleivers to live for Christ. It is a spiritual war going on. The flesh gravitates to the things of the flesh, & the spirit to the things of the spirit. We are all human beings in desperate need of a balnce, as it relates to feeding our spirit man. We are all sinners and we all fall short of the Glory of God. Don't Get it twisted this man of God is not here to judge people, but to be a light in a dark world, to give people hope of eternal security with our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. Preston Thompson is currently serving as director of the rap ministry at Canaan M B Church in Urbana, Illinois.
